Sofosbuvir

Sofosbuvir is an antiviral medication used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, often in combination with other antiviral drugs. It works by reducing the amount of HCV in the body, which can eventually lead to the virus being removed from the blood. Sofosbuvir is also used in patients with certain co-infections or those awaiting a liver transplant.
